Unfortunately any damage or condition to your van (such as scratches, dents, rust) cannot be added to your online valuation, it can only be added when you attend one of our branches. Standardisation of condition prices for vans is very difficult due to the diversity of vans specification and in how vans are used.

Simple online appointment booking
Once you have your online valuation, you can then choose a branch, day and time for you appointment through our website and we'll confirm your appointment by email.
If you don’t book your appointment straight away, the quickest way for you to do this at a later stage would be to simply click on the link in your initial valuation email, select which branch you would like to visit and on what date and time.
We provide detailed directions to all of our branches as well as a full address with postcode on the Branch Locator page of the website.
You will also be able to find further details on where your branch is within your Appointment Confirmation email.
Appointments are not always necessary, so if you haven't made an appointment online, you can just call into your local branch.
Booking an appointment ensures we'll be ready for your arrival and will have the time to inspect your van at the branch. But if you are just passing a branch then you can pop in and speak to us whenever you like.
We do however advise that you check the branch opening times before you travel.

You will accompany one of our trained vehicle purchasers to your van whilst they conduct an inspection of the vehicle. A short test drive will be undertaken at which point you will be invited to accompany the vehicle purchaser (if your vehicle is not taxed or has no valid MOT, we will be unable to carry out the test drive which may affect the price we offer).
After the test drive, you return to the office where the vehicle purchaser will offer you a price for your van.
The price may differ from your online valuation if we consider that its value is affected by any aspect of its history or condition, including any unusual features or customisation, which was not apparent to us when we gave the online valuation.
If you do decide to sell your van we arrange for the money to be paid in to your bank account, complete some paperwork and complete the sale. Please ensure that you have made arrangements for your return journey.
Valuations issued from webuyanyvan.com are subject to an inspection of the van and should not be construed as a contract. The condition of your vehicle must be confirmed by a member of our valuation team prior to purchase.

For us to do this we will need you to provide an in date letter from your finance company, detailing the current settlement figure and your agreement reference number.
The settlement amount will be deducted from the amount paid to you for your van.
We will pay your finance company within 4 working days after the day of sale
If you owe more on your finance than the value of the van, we will still be happy to buy the van, but you will need to pay us the shortfall by debit/credit card when we purchase your van.
We are happy to help buy your vehicle as a nominated third party, in accordance with the requirements of your finance/lease company. Just contact your finance or lease company to discuss your intentions, to find out what you need to do to conclude your agreement with them.
Yes, we will need you to bring along the following:
If you are a VAT registered individual or company and are selling a van that is subject to VAT when it was purchased, we can pay VAT on the sale. Please remember to bring your VAT number with you at the time of your appointment.
In accordance with HMRC requirements, we are required to ensure that the vehicle is registered to the VAT entity. If the vehicle has not been registered to the VAT entity (different name/address), we may require linking evidence from you at the point of sale (usually written confirmation from your accountant that the vehicle is an asset of the VAT entity).

Yes you can and the following documentation will be required to complete the sale;
Original Photo ID for the registered keeper (Passport/Driving License)
We'll be happy to give you a valuation and buy your van whilst it has a personalised registration.
However, if you want to keep your private plate it's easy to reassign it to another vehicle or to put the registration onto a retention certificate so that it can be sold or reassigned at a later date. You would need to complete this with the DVLA prior to selling to us.

Also, We Buy Any Van do not specialise in private plates and therefore selling the vehicle to us with or without a private registration plate will not positively affect the valuation offered.

We periodically trial different transaction fees. Where this applies, your transaction fee will be displayed on our website when you obtain a valuation, and you will be informed of the transaction fee before you sell your vehicle. The transaction fee is displayed on the invoice as a deduction prior to you signing our contract.
Payment will be made directly to your bank account within 4 working days after the day of sale, using our standard electronic bank transfer service. There is no charge for this service.

If you think you are going to be late, we should still be able to accommodate you and your vehicle when you arrive and effectively carry out your appointment.
In every scenario we'll do our very best to accomodate you as soon as possible but depending on how busy we are, it may be necessary to book a new appointment.
We guarantee your price for 4 days, so any valuation you have which is older than 4 days will no longer be valid.
The van market changes on a daily basis and we adjust our prices daily to match demand.

We may require a copy of your original purchase invoice/proof of payment which should be from a recognised dealer if;
You have been the registered keeper for less than 2 months and your vehicle is valued over £5,000 or;
You have been the registered keeper for less than 6 months and your vehicle is valued at £10,000 or above, or
You have been the registered keeper for less than 12 months and your vehicle is valued at £50,000 or above
If we require any additional documentation, we will advise you as soon as we can.
We cannot accept proof of purchase from an Auction House.
We will still buy your van as long as it is registered in the UK. Bear in mind that models and specifications vary from country to country, so the price may differ from that of a UK supplied van in some circumstances.
There are two types of import: a "parallel" import (i.e. purchased within the EU) and a "grey" import (i.e. purchased outside the EU).
Cars which are parallel imports can be valued normally through www.webuyanycar.com online.
However, "grey" imports will require a manual valuation. If your van is a "grey" import it's not a problem - simply email us with the details which can be found on your V5 registration document and a member of our customer services team will be in touch.
We realise this can be an incredibly emotional and stressful time and we can help make this process easy.

We understand that there may be times when your current address does not match the address that is detailed on your V5. If this is the case, please provide your Vehicle Purchaser with a proof of address that matches the address that is on your V5 as well as a proof of address that matches your current address.
The V5 (log book) holds the details of the registered keeper of the vehicle. To prevent fraud, we will only purchase a vehicle from you if it is your name on the V5.
If you wish to sell your car and there is a legitimate reason why you are not the registered keeper, please contact us with full details and we'll do our best to help.
We are unable to purchase any car without the original V5 document (log book).
If you do not have one you can obtain a new document by contacting DVLA via the options detailed on their website; https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-log-book
It can take up to a week to get the replacement V5 (log book).
Yes, you will leave your van with us after the appointment if you decide to sell.

We will be happy to settle the outstanding loan with logbook loans as part of the transaction however you would need them to release the V5 to you prior to the sale as this will be required when you attend the branch.

We have a national network of branches. When you click on the link in your valuation email to book an appointment, we will match your postcode to the branch nearest to you. You can then arrange an appointment at a time and location that suits you best. You can also use our branch locator to find your nearest branch.
All our branches have excellent transport links. Please remember to arrange your transport home prior to your appointment as we are unable to offer transportation home in most cases. However, we will arrange for a local taxi to come and collect you if required.
When you arrive at the branch just check-in with one of our vehicle purchasers who will take you through your appointment.
We need your email address so that we can send your van valuation to you, once it has been calculated. We ask for your telephone number so that we can get in touch with you if we have any queries about your van.
